Retirement Fund

Thank you to everyone who made a contribution to the retiring collection at each KS1 and KS2 performance this Christmas. We raised nearly £300 which will be sent to support the work of the Gloucestershire Air Ambulance. On average, each air ambulance costs between £700,000 to £1.2m  per year to run so our contribution will be gratefully received.

New AGM Members

At the AGM of the Friends’ , held in late November, a new chairperson was elected. Welcome to Caroline Sullivan ( parent of Lily in Cedars) who has agreed to take this on.

I am extremely grateful to Hayley Ridsdale who is the retiring chair, and who gave a huge amount of time to supporting the school last year.

Also to Jane Bell who has relinquished the role of treasurer.

Winsome Barrett-Muir is secretary and Juliet Scanlan is the new treasurer.

The next committee meeting of the Friends’ takes place on Monday 12th Jan at 6.30pm.

I know that the committee are keen to have ideas for events and for fund raising, so please contact either the school office or one of these named parents if you have something to contribute.
